Buffy the Vampire Slayer Icon. In the Kickstarter campaign I started to fund my 2012 Time Travel Calendar, anyone who donated $500 would receive, among other things, an icon created specifically for them.
As it turned out, Kate (her name is not Kate, but I’m protecting the names of the innocent) loves Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Not being a Buffy aficionado, I grilled my girlfriend (who recently watched the series in its entirety) and did a little old-fashioned research. From there, I did my standard page of sketches ( 5”x8.5” Moleskine) and brought 5 (more than usual) ideas into the computer. I sent them to Kate, who made the final call. Always great when a client chooses the best option
The icon incorporates the shape of a crossbow and a stake. Essentials for any vampire hunter.
