This is by far the most complicated pixel gif I’ve made to date, clocking in at a cool 105 frames. It took a while.

Last week, I teased a Deadpool pixel gif that I was starting work on. It’s not complete, but this is 29 frames in, and it’s not even close to being half way done. From here, I’m going to animate Deadpool regenerating the missing half of his head from inside out: Brain stem > Brain > Skull > Eye ball > Facial Muscles > Skin > Mask.
For those of you that’re new here, I always make pixel art on planes. I think this Deadpool Plane Pixel project is going to last me for a few trips yet. Phew. -
I asked people via twitter who or what they’d like to see pixelized and “Batman” was the only response I got twice. So, the majority wins! Congrats, majority. All two of you.
Between the Arkham games, The Court of the Owls and Nolan’s Batman stuff, ol’ Bats has been on a roll in recent years. Being a fan of Bruce made it a fun portrait to work on during an otherwise boring plane ride. Thanks for the suggestion, Ben and Kyle! -
